Sustainable Supply Chain Management involves integrating environmentally, social, and financially viable practices into the complete supply chain lifecycle, from product design and development to material selection, (including raw material extraction or agricultural production), manufacturing, packaging, transportation, distribution, etc to final consumers.


It involves the active streamlining of a business’s supply-side activities to maximize customer value and gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
