About Stroma

Stroma Group Ltd is a multi-disciplinary service provider to the construction industry which aim to deliver sustainability and compliance. We are here to improve the local and global environment, supporting our customers in creating built developments that are comfortable to live and work in, have minimal impact on their surroundings and produce low emissions.
The Group was founded in 2002, initially as a provider of Air Tightness Testing in response to Part L requirement changes. We now have three divisions covering Building Control, Building Compliance and Certification & Software. 

We employ specialists in a variety of niche sustainability and testing techniques which can be deployed to assist Architects, Designers, Clients and Contractors. Our consultancy teams work with our clients throughout the project to ensure sustainability targets are met, devising innovative means of complying with legislation to maximising building performance and comfort.

We have a strong service offering to buildings in operation, working with Facilities Managers and Property Managers to help assets perform safely and efficiently. Our Post Construction services span health & safety, thermography, ESOS, MEES and building inspection. We are committed to working with Facilities Managers and Property Managers to deliver cost & time savings, reduced risk and enhanced safety for buildings in operation.

Stroma is particularly committed to innovation and is keenly interested in the move towards Digital Construction offered by Building Information Modelling (BIM). Enhancing collaboration throughout the supply chain is a key facet of BIM. Our BIM Lead Assessors are working with Tier 1 Contractors and a variety of subcontractors to improve BIM adoption throughout the supply chain. Partnership with the Supply Chain Sustainability School will help us to improve BIM understanding throughout the industry.
