Operating its own facilities across England and Scotland and working with hundreds of supplier partners, it is able to service all sectors in all areas. Working with professional, approved partners while also meeting and exceeding ISO standards, it ensures the highest standards of delivery and compliance.
- Collecting – managing a nationwide network of sites and suppliers to collect all waste types in all locations
- Recycling – implementing efficiencies and segregating waste streams to increase recycle rates and reduce costs
- Reporting – tracking the entire waste process to fulfil compliance and reporting obligations through bespoke portal
Recycling Lives’ values are strongly aligned with the Supply Chain Sustainability School, working closely with its suppliers to ensure its own high standards are shared. It is also unique in using all of its commercial operations to support charity programmes, embedding socially-minded practices within all business activities, from recruitment to procurement.
It works with the Recycling Lives Charity to deliver programmes that are rehabilitating offenders to reduce re-offending rates; supporting the homeless and improving employability; and redistributing surplus food to feed vulnerable communities and reduce food waste.
Having built trusted relationships and partnerships, it has been able to place ex-offenders and the formerly homeless into stable, skilled and meaningful jobs with members of its supply chain.
