Supplier and Sub-Contractor Breakfast Briefing with Elliott and BAM Construct UK

Date: Tuesday 29 January 2019
Time: 08:30 - 11:30
Location: DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Edinburgh Airport, 100 Eastfield Rd, Ingliston, Edinburgh EH28 8LL

Join our Scotland School Partners for breakfast in Edinburgh!

Balfour Beatty, Robertson, BAM, ISG, Kier, Morgan Sindall, Murphy, VGC, BRE, Danny Sullivan and Marshalls are working with the Supply Chain Sustainability School in Scotland to address the social and environmental challenges that we all face and that our clients across Scotland are increasingly asking us to deliver.

These partners have formed a Strategic Leadership Group, with a shared vision and approach to delivering solutions that measurably improve sustainability and supply chain performance within the construction industry in Scotland.

Since June 2018 our Partners in Scotland have been focusing on reducing carbon and waste and looking at how we can tackle responsible sourcing, modern slavery and fairness, inclusion & respect issues. Attend one of the free Breakfast Briefing events across Scotland to find out more about these priorities, the Supply Chain Sustainability School’s work and your client’s sustainability requirements.

This event will include a presentation by BAM Construct UK on their own sustainability priorities, challenges and successes. We are pleased to welcome BAM, who spoke recently at a School Briefing about their major project constructing the V&A Museum in Dundee.

We also welcome Elliott, covering how their site services can make a significant contribution to the drive towards sustainability in our industry. This will include how Elliott can help with impacts such as water use, power consumption and CO2 emissions.

It’s an 8:30am start, but we promise you a warm welcome; hot coffee and a bacon sandwich! You'll be away no later than 11:30am and will hopefully be wiser about where you can make a difference.

If you have any special requirements for attending this event (e.g. access, dietary), please email or telephone 0191 580 4005 so that we can accommodate you.

All of our workshops are CPD accredited.
