Carbon workshop

This half day workshop is hosted by our program partners including:


It will provide you with the knowledge to identify, measure and then reduce your business' carbon footprint and save money in the process.

This workshop will build on the resources you will have accessed through January and will provide you with an opportunity to develop your own organisational action plan to increase your competency in carbon impact management

The output from this workshop will be developed further by yourselves through February and you will be asked to attend a half day breakfast briefing on the 25th February in Birmingham to present and discuss your final action plan.

 By attending this workshop you will:

  • Understand why carbon is important in construction and how we can reduce it
  • Understand key terms used in carbon footprinting analysis
  • Undertake activities to build your own carbon footprint
  • Learn how to develop a carbon reduction action plan for your business
  • Find out about different approaches / standards
  • Be better placed to meet client requirements on carbon
