Waste Management and Reduction workshop

The focus of this workshop is to learn the importance of waste management and reduction in construction supply chains, and how better 'waste management' can reduce costs and drive increased productivity and higher profit margins – as well as helping our planet.

At this event, you will:

  • Hear from Action Sustainability Consultant Mark Turner on the key waste challenges in our industry, and understand how the Supply Chain Sustainability School is helping companies respond to these
  • Hear about the latest regulatory drivers and resulting risks relating to waste management in construction
  • Learn about major contractors’ priorities and strategies on waste, and their expectations from suppliers and sub-contractors
  • Hear examples of waste management innovation and how this has helped organisational performance
  • Understand how to reduce negative environmental impacts, create more value for customers, drive higher productivity and profit within your business, and help our industry become more efficient as a whole
  • Network with new industry contacts in a collaborative, neutral environment
  • Gain a CPD accredited certificate when attending this workshop

Our Partners (e.g. Balfour Beatty, ISG, Morgan Sindall, Kier and BAM) are keen to ensure that their supply chain is equipped with the right knowledge to meet sustainability targets. This workshop is completely free and we expect this event to fill up quickly so register today to avoid disappointment!

If you have any special requirements for attending this event (e.g. access, dietary), please email or telephone 0191 580 4005 so that we can accommodate you.

The School is looking forward to welcoming you to the workshop!
