    This workshop will bring you up to speed on modern slavery requirements and practices for construction in 2019. This training is for Small and Medium sized enterprises in East London.

  • Consultation on the 'People Matter' Charter

    Lead Consultant Helen Carter is running a stakeholder consultation event for the 'People Matter' Charter produced by the School's Labour Group. What are Training Workshops?
Training Workshops are half-day sessions which focus on a specific sustainability issue such as ethical business, embedding sustainable procurement, selling your sustainability credentials or responsible sourcing of materials. 
How much do they cost?
The events are free to attend thanks to funding from CITB and our Partners.

Who should attend?

We encourage MDs, procurement staff, QSHE managers, business development managers and sustainability managers to attend. We just ask that you do not bring along more than 2 representatives from each organisation, as events fill up quite quickly.

What's the difference between a Supplier Day and a Training Workshop?

A Supplier Day follows a similar format each time, so if you've already attended one in the past, you will hear similar talks at another. They are geared at people who are not yet involved in the School and want to know more. Training Workshops are geared at people who are already involved in the School and have identified a need for more information on one of these subjects.
