Working together to Accelerate Climate Action
The Scottish Business Climate Collaboration (SBCC) is a group of leading corporate businesses with major footprint in Scotland who have joined forces to help lead the fight against climate change and inspire action to decarbonise.
Participating businesses who first came together to create the SBCC were from a range of key strategic economic sectors, representing approximately 25,000 employees in Scotland and more than £92billion in global revenues.
The SBCC was set up in 2022 as a legacy of COP26 in Glasgow, with a mission to leverage combined scale and sustainability ambitions and accelerate the journey towards a Net Zero future in Scotland.
In June 2026 the SBCC joined the School as a Partner to continue its engagement and support for Scottish SMEs on climate action and net zero carbon. The SBCC offers a range of short E-Learning Modules providing an accessible Learning Pathway on Carbon and Climate Change – to boost individual knowledge and business capability on Net Zero fundamentals. These modules can be accessed on a variety of devices and create a practical, step-by-step programme equipping all organisations (including social enterprises and charities) with the tools and knowledge to understand, establish and achieve their own Net Zero ambitions.
