Do you work in the built environment and want to make a positive impact on your workplace? Join the FIR Ambassadors Network and help create a culture of Fairness, Inclusion, and Respect!

FIR Ambassadors actively promote a culture of fairness, inclusion, and respect within their organisation. They embody FIR principles by collaborating with others, taking action, challenging inappropriate behaviours, and helping to shape a positive workplace culture.

 

Becoming a FIR Ambassador can have a significant impact on your organisation’s success.

Here’s how:

  • Enhance Workplace Culture: Improve your organisation’s environment to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Show Commitment to FIR Values: Demonstrate your commitment to fairness, inclusion, and respect to employees, new recruits, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop People’s Capabilities: Empower employees by increasing their knowledge and understanding of FIR.

FIR Ambassadors can hold any role within the organisation, and there are no limits to the level at which they can serve. Whether you’re a senior leader or a frontline worker, you can make a difference.

Ready to Become a FIR Ambassador?

Here’s how you can get started:

  1. Sign up for the ‘FIR Ambassador Pre-Training’ Learning Pathway and complete the required resources.
  2. Book your place on an upcoming “Becoming a FIR Ambassador” training workshop (but be sure to complete your pre-training learning pathway beforehand!)
  3. After attending, sign your FIR Ambassador commitment letter as prompted by the trainer.
  4. Congratulations – you’re now an Official FIR Ambassador! We’ll continue to support you on your journey.
  5. Over time, you can progress through the FIR Ambassador Journey, earning Bronze, Silver, and Gold status.

The annual FIR Culture Survey is now live! Share your experiences to help shape a more inclusive industry. FIR Ambassadors are required to complete this survey to maintain their ambassador status.
