Sustainability & Supply Chain
At Bowmer + Kirkland, we recognise that meeting the current needs of society should not have a harmful impact on future generations. We are, therefore, committed to Net Zero Carbon by 2040, working with our supply chain to source more sustainable materials, investing in carbon-saving technologies, decarbonising our offices, reducing energy consumption and limiting and recycling waste. We are measuring and reporting our carbon reductions through Planet Mark.
Our supply chain is integral to the success of each and every project. Every one of our suppliers is an important member of the Bowmer + Kirkland team and we ensure that their skills, training, values and financial stability match ours. We maintain a close relationship with all our approved sub-contractors which enables us to continually improve through collaborative working and lessons learnt
Why a Partner?
Bowmer + Kirkland has partnered with the school to help develop our people and supply chain’s skills and knowledge in topics such as modern slavery, mental health, diversity (esp. disability), social value, digital and carbon/sustainability. We also invested in the Carbon Footprint Tool to gather our Scope 3 emissions data.
