With a commitment to innovation within the lifting sector, GGR Group has a pedigree for the development of industry leading equipment, especially in relation to green lifting solutions. Early examples include the development of a pioneering battery crane in 2010, ahead of its’ formal launch as the Eco-UNIC in 2014 and more recently the introduction of the Worlds’ first Electric Telehandler in 2020.
In addition to our own initiatives, GGR has subscribed to recent market trends such as; Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO), the roll out of electric vehicles and charging infrastructure at all depots and energy saving office solutions.

For over a decade, GGR Group have been early adopters of sustainable technologies, changing perceptions on key sustainable factors within the industry and building a company culture that encourages employees to incorporate an eco-friendlier approach in their working lives.
Constantly working with the worlds’ largest manufacturers of cranes and lifting solutions, we are able to closely identify ways of improving the eco-friendly nature of our equipment and share ideas of reducing the carbon footprint during production.
We have set targets for recycling, energy waste and reduced water usage and are always looking towards developing technologies and sustainable alternative – encouraging our suppliers and business partners do the same.
