Sizewell C Supplier Development Programme

Together with its Civil Works Alliance (CWA) and the Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC (MEH) Alliance, Sizewell C is providing a Supplier Development Programme to align and extend individual skills and company level competence of the wider supply chain. This includes current suppliers and companies interested in the construction and operation of the power station.

A business level Capability Assessment enables any company to benchmark its maturity against a range of competencies across 10 key topics – then access tailored learning and action plans to build knowledge and capability.

Key elements of the programme are:

1. Sizewell C Learning Pathways aligned to 10 key ESG and business issues.

Sizewell C Capability Assessment

The Sizewell C Capability Assessment (launched June 2026), allows organisations to benchmark and build competencies across a range of priority issues, and create a bespoke action plan to help support you develop your business. This assessment is not linked to the commercial and procurement process; its sole intention is to help develop our understanding of Sizewell C priorities and how we can align to those.

The assessment has a range of competency subjects; each one scored from maturity levels 1 to 5. The competency subjects are arranged under different main subtopics, which align with Sizewell’s key ESG and business issues.

On completion, submit your answers to generate a bespoke Action Plan for your business, designed to focus attention on any areas for improvement.

To complete your organisation’s Capability Assessment, simply follow these steps:

Log into you Supply Chain Sustainability School account, and navigate to your company dashboard
Within the ‘Company Assessment’ section on your dashboard, select the Sizewell C option, and click ‘assess’. N.B. In order to access this assessment, you must be an admin of your company dashboard. Please speak to your account owner if you do not have access, or contact [email protected] for support.
Complete the assessment questions, and submit your answers. An action plan will then be generated, which you can find within the ‘Company action plan’ section on your company dashboard.
