A Fairness, Inclusion, and Respect (FIR) Ambassador can progress through various stages of learning and sharing knowledge to gain both organisational and personal value from the programme. We call this the FIR Ambassador Journey.
The journey outlines the steps, learning activities, and resources that will help you develop your skills and knowledge on how to embed and encourage a culture of fairness, inclusion, and respect within your team or organisation.
The FIR Ambassador Journey Levels
- Beginner FIR Ambassador
- Bronze FIR Ambassador
- Silver FIR Ambassador
- Gold FIR Ambassador
If you are an existing FIR Ambassador, you can check your current status by logging into your School account and reviewing your personal dashboard. This will show your current status and how close you are to reaching the next level.
If you are not yet a FIR Ambassador and want to get started, simply self-enrol onto the Ambassador Pre-Training Pathway and follow the steps outlined below for the beginner level.
How to Progress Your FIR Ambassador Status
- Enrol on the FIR Ambassador pre-training pathway and complete the required resources:
- Mental Health & Wellbeing
- FIR Induction
- Ambassador Network
- Achieving Business Success Through FIR
- Book to attend an upcoming "Becoming a FIR Ambassador" Workshop
- Obtain approval from your employer to become a FIR Ambassador
- Sign the FIR Ambassador commitment (accessible after workshop attendance)
- Successfully complete at least three FIR e-learning modules – choose from the 'E-Learning Resources' section on the FIR Toolkit page
- Attend two workshops or webinars in the last 12 months
- Complete the annual FIR survey (available every February/March)
- Complete the four FIR video Toolbox Talks:
- FIR Toolbox Talk: Language
- FIR Toolbox Talk: Respect
- FIR Toolbox Talk: Responsibilities
- FIR Toolbox Talk: Wellbeing
- Successfully complete at least five e-learning modules – choose from the 'E-Learning Resources' section on the FIR Toolkit page
- Attend three workshops or webinars in the last 12 months
- Complete the annual FIR survey (available every February/March)
- Hold FIR Ambassador status for 3 consecutive years
- Successfully complete at least seven e-learning modules – choose from the 'E-Learning Resources' section on the FIR Toolkit page
- Attend three workshops or webinars in the last 12 months
- Complete the annual FIR survey (available every February/March)
