Align JV

Align is a joint venture of three international and privately-owned infrastructure companies; Bouygues Travaux Publics, a subsidiary of Bouygues Construction, Sir Robert McAlpine, and VolkerFitzpatrick, a subsidiary of VolkerWessels. Our combined experience, both in the UK and worldwide, in delivering high-profile infrastructure projects safely, on time and on budget, has long established our reputation.

In July 2017 the Align joint venture was awarded the C1 package of the UK High Speed 2 line (HS2). C1 consists of 21.6km of high-speed rail infrastructure in a rural environment. This will include a 3.37km viaduct, 16.04km twin-bored tunnel and five vent shafts handling both intervention and tunnel ventilation facilities.

Why a Partner?

Our supply chain partners are the heart of what we do. We can only achieve our targets and ambitions by working together whilst ensuring that market leading / innovative technology is used.

We therefore must hold the same beliefs and share the same vision in terms of upskilling, carbon reduction and sustainability challenges. Our relationships are based on respect, trust and integrity, and the need to continuously improve in everything we do.

Align JV and the Supply Chain Sustainability School Partnership

Align JV’s Supply Chain is a crucial part of our business and becoming a member of the Supply Chain Sustainability School is a great way to enhance what we provide for our subcontractors and suppliers.

The Supply Chain Sustainability School allows us to upskill our supply chain, internal colleagues and meet our goal of being leaders in the construction of a sustainable future.

The many different learning tools the School provides, from workshops to e-learning modules ensure that learning is accessible to all and the key sustainability challenges within the industry are communicated across the supply chain.

We look forward to being an integral and active Partner of the School.

BBV JV is pleased to be supporting the HS2 Supply Chain School – a collaboration of all major civils and station contractors working with HS2. Find out more about the unique learning and skills workshops being provided through this initiative.
