the Colne Valley ViaductAlign is a joint venture of three international and privately-owned infrastructure companies; Bouygues Travaux Publics, a subsidiary of Bouygues Construction, Sir Robert McAlpine, and VolkerFitzpatrick, a subsidiary of VolkerWessels. Our combined experience, both in the UK and worldwide, in delivering high-profile infrastructure projects safely, on time and on budget, has long established our reputation.
HS2 C1 PACKAGE
In July 2017 the Align joint venture was awarded the C1 package of the UK High Speed 2 line (HS2). C1 consists of 21.6km of high-speed rail infrastructure in a rural environment. This will include a 3.37km viaduct, 16.04km twin-bored tunnel and five vent shafts handling both intervention and tunnel ventilation facilities.

Align JV’s Supply Chain is a crucial part of our business and becoming a member of the Supply Chain Sustainability School is a great way to enhance what we provide for our subcontractors and suppliers.
The Supply Chain Sustainability School allows us to upskill our supply chain, internal colleagues and meet our goal of being leaders in the construction of a sustainable future.
The many different learning tools the School provides, from workshops to e-learning modules ensure that learning is accessible to all and the key sustainability challenges within the industry are communicated across the supply chain.
