All four partners bring specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including some of Europe’s largest high speed rail projects.

EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. Sustainability & the Supply Chain

EKFB recognises the importance of embedding the principles of sustainability throughout our supply chain and the importance of our supply chain partners in achieving our sustainability goals and objectives. EKFB will actively collaborate and engage with our clients, supply chain and other stakeholders to ensure our strategic objectives and goals are achieved and innovations.

  • Empowering our supply chain
  • Innovation
  • Upskilling supply chain
  • Responsible & ethical sourcing
  • Reducing our Carbon footprint
  • Improving the industries understanding of sustainability and sustainability practices

Ensuring the principles of sustainability are realised brings social, environmental and economic benefit to the local communities and throughout our supply chain.

All procurement packages for EKFB are advertised on CompeteFor. Interested subcontractors complete a prequalification questionnaire as part of expressing their interest, which includes mandatory social value related questions aligned to HS2 requirements. CompeteFor is then used to shortlist suppliers to progress to tender stage.
