Network Occupancy Application Portal
NOAP is the new tool designed to serve two functions:
- Enable Promoters to plan, collaborate, deconflict, create and manage occupancy applications and bookings.
- Enable Traffic Management Companies to provide operational data and updates as the requirements change on the Day of Roadworks.
National Highways has produced an Overview Video, a series of 8 videos and a Training Manual to enable users to create new applications and view all existing applications on the Strategic Roads Network.
The Introductory Overview Video below explains how issues affecting network occupancy such as efficiency, safety and customer service will be enhanced through the Enhanced Network Occupancy and Control System in order to to reduce delays and improve data accuracy, safety and wellbeing.
