A Network Occupancy is something that temporarily takes space from all or part of a highway that may interrupt the flow of traffic or be a threat to our asset. Network occupancy and the management of network occupancy is about maintaining traffic flow and reducing disruption to customers throughout the whole lifecycle (creation, operation, maintenance and renewal) of the highway and assets within it.
