We are changing and standardising how we manage network occupancy across National Highways’ Strategic Road Network.
This page offers information on the projects, user manuals, guidance and training available to support you.
CoNet is part of the National Highways Change Delivery Programme and is paving the way for transformational change through creating consistent processes, developing self-serve capability and automating workflows to ‘clear the decks’, increase situational awareness and move from a position of reactive to proactive network management.
Network Occupancy Ways of Working (NoWoW) and Enhanced Network Occupancy and Control (ENOC) will be rolled out across National Highways. Doing this will allow us to optimise activities on our network (coordinating planning, scheduling, prioritising and delivering works), improve our day-to-day management (of incidents & reactive maintenance) and proactively engage with customers and stakeholders to provide a better service.
Enhanced Network Occupancy and Control Overview Watch the summary video (click the link below) to understand the upcoming changes and how they will affects promoters, controllers, control room staff, and temporary traffic management providers working for National Highways.
