Oldham College is ‘Where Learning Works and Skills Pay’

Founded in 1893, it has around 6,500 students and staff located across two sites and is an anchor institution in the borough.

Specialising in technical and professional education and training for hundreds of learners aged 16 and above, it offers an extensive range of courses – including apprenticeships and T Levels – and has its own Higher Education faculty at University Campus Oldham.

More than £45m has been invested in recent years linked to modernising its curriculum and delivering a state-of-the-art campus for all learners with first-class environments that rank amongst the best in Greater Manchester – including a new Construction Centre and a Health and Life Sciences Centre.

The campus boasts a range of simulation suites mirroring real-life environments including a clinical hospital ward, nursery, courtroom, financial trading room and gym, which are superb locations for learners to progress to a future trade.
